Women in Cybersecurity: Breaking down barriers. Closing the gap in Cyber

In collaborazione con SDA Bocconi- School of Management

A series of panels for the Bocconi community exploring the cybersecurity career field for women. The panels are an occasion to discuss the challenges and opportunities of pursuing a career in cybersecurity as a woman, and to interact with a set of female role models who have been successful in this field.

This panel will discuss the current state of women in cybersecurity, their under-representation in the field and the positive changes we can help drive. We will explore the societal stereotypes and other barriers to women entering STEM fields and by extension, cybersecurity. We will discuss the impact of these systemic and cultural barriers, and what can be done to address them.
